Alu-met expands its diameter portfolio

First casting with a diameter of 152 mm successfully completed in Nachrodt.

In April 2025, the first batch with a diameter of 152 mm was successfully cast in Nachrodt in collaboration with our long-standing partner Wagstaff. With what is now the 11th diameter at its German site, Alu-met is consistently expanding its portfolio in order to serve existing customers more comprehensively and flexibly and to attract new customers.

With this investment, the Nachrodt aluminium foundry now covers all relevant diameters between 152 mm and 348 mm.

Alu-met is responding to market demands for niche products and sending a clear signal in favour of the domestic aluminium industry. The diameter has been integrated into series production since the middle of the year and the first quantities have been delivered to customers.
